There are a lot of amazing dolls being sold on the DoA Marketplace and on Ebay. Nowadays there's always a bit worry with all the re-casts being made and sold... but this guy, a Lumedoll Keid Ara, was being sold by Dollist--the artist/owner of Lumedoll, and the faceup was by SDink, a well-known customizer (whose work I adore).
The last thing I need is another doll, but Lumedoll sculpts are amazing, I've always wanted a SDink faceup... and the price was too good to resist.

There he is--trying to be modest, but missing... yeah Not Work Safe... but he's just a doll, a sculpture, a work of art... so nothing shocking going on here!

I'm not sure what style would suit him. I was thinking contemporary boy fashions... but I really don't have any of that, even with tons and tons of outfits in his size. He's wearing the only think I could think of--light-colored lacy, puffy shirt and over-shirt...
Hmmm... the lighting here really washes him out, but oh, well.
And the only reason he's in this Apple Avenue coat is because it just arrived (from ZoZer on Ebay). This is just a classic, now discontinued Geisha faux-sheepskin coat. LOVE. More for a girl, but I kinda like him in it.
I don't know what attracts me to dolls. There's just something about his face. I don't think I have any very Asian-featured dolls... Anime-ish styles, but those aren't really the same thing.
I've been tempted by other Asian-looking dolls, like Iplehouse Bichun and Ava--they are just gorgeous! This guy is younger and softer and a bit more stylized...
