The Korean BJD Show was held for the first (only?) time in Los Angeles on April 24-26, 2014. It was a fantastic event with 8 Korean BJD Companies and 11 US vendors--mostly artists, designers, sculptors. There were workshops run by various companies-- faceups, face sculpting, wig-making, and panels and special interests/mini-meets, an good-sized sellers room and Opening and Closing Banquets, with each company hosting a table that would have One-Off dolls that were for sale.
I had hoped to avoid buying any large dolls (failed miserably), but couldn't help picking up one of Marbled Halls/Connie Lowe's little anthros.
Cute, but with plenty of character. And the color--very different!
