I have been trying not to buy more Soom Dolls, but have been failing. Picked up the Faery Legend Metato not long back, and now one of their big, BIG expensive (near-full-set) dolls... Soom has started another Monthly Doll line based on Fairy Tales. The first one released for limited pre-sale in January of 2103 was The Beast of Beauty and the Beast. It was unusual for the animal head (not too many of those), and for it being a MegaGem (most are SuperGem sized), and some people thought it was a bit strange picking a non-predator for the Beast.
To me, this was a strange design... but I rather liked the oddness of him! Plus, I waited towards the end of the buying period, which was shorter than the usual month, and saw that very few people were ordering him, so if I didn't order, it would be nearly impossible to find him on the secondary market if I changed my mind. I was the only one in the DoA Waiting Rooms who had ordered the Beast (although it was very possible that some who don't post on DoA had ordered him). So... I was "soomed" again.
