"As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things." Ecclesiastes 11:5
"There are two sides
to every story, and then there's the truth."
Rebecca Grossi
(my grandmother)
"It's much easier to learn to love what you have instead of always yearning for what you're missing." From the movie, "One True Thing"
I have had people tell me that I look
like Belinda Carlisle...you know when she was with the GoGo's and
she had fuller cheeks. I am 5'6", red hair, and hazel eyes. I am
still a housewife although I am currently job hunting.
I
spent most of my life in Pittsburgh, PA. I was raised by my
grandparents. My grandfather is my hero. Although he left us on
March 20, 1984, he is still a very large part of my life. I know he
is taking good care of my son up in heaven...
The character traits I have the most respect for would have to be trust and honesty. Without those, you have nothing. I enjoy talking with my friends on the phone and online. I like shopping, going to the movies, or just hanging out in general. My idea of the perfect vacation with anybody is going to the beach. For me, it's Sunset Beach (not the soap opera either) in North Carolina. It's only a couple of hours away so it's easily accessible. It's quiet and peaceful but Myrtle is right down the road if you want some realtime fun and excitement!
I like so many things, I would need a book to list them all but I'll try to sum it up in a nutshell. My favorite book would have to be Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. My favorite movie without a doubt is a 3 way tie between: Titanic, City of Angels, and The Bridges of Madison County. Spring is the best time of year around here because it's not too hot and not too cold. It's just right. Nighttime is my favorite time of day. And I mean the dark of night when the ghouls are prowling about! Sometimes I think I was a bat in a former life. My favorite hangout spot would have to be our local bowling center. We practically live there. I also love Broadway shows. The tops for me are: Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Jeckyl and Hyde, and Titanic.
I don't like bossy people. The thing I like least is people who think that they are better than everybody else. That just makes me see red! We are all created equal in God's eyes. Also, people who criticize others who don't know the whole story. They need to walk a mile in their shoes before passing judgement. I don't like peas. Believe it or not...I'm allergic!! I also can't stand brussel sprouts. They smell like dirty old socks.
