Bright Blessings and welcome. Please, come join me in my circle, you can sit here next to me. Take my hand, close your eyes and open your mind. Don't be afraid, for there is nothing here that you need to fear. "But I hear people talking about Wicca, Paganism and witchcraft here", you say. That's why I'm here my friend, to teach. These are not words that you need to fear. These are words that express love, gentleness and a desire for change. "To change what?", you ask. To change the way we live our lives, I answer. These words express my belief and reverance in the God/Goddesses, my embrace of nature, the Earth and her wonderful energies, and the energies and power within myself to help me live as a loving, caring human being.
"But you practice witchcraft. Doesn't that mean that you worship the devil? Don't you gather in large groups and make sacrifices of babies and small animals, stick pins in dolls that look like people you hate so that something bad will happen to them? Don't you put curses, hexes and whammies on people?" I giggle softly. My dear friend, of course not. Please walk through my circle. Take your time, see everything there is to see here. I promise you, your journey will be free of any sacrifices, human or animal. They only thing that you may have to sacrifice is your misconception of the words that you have heard.
