To have doubted one's own first principles is the
mark of a civilized man.
-Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., poet, novelist, essayist, and physician
(1809-1894)
That wasn't my first choice for a quote. I hate the word "civilized,"
but I couldn't find the one I really wanted. That one was something
like, "We live in a society that reveres our living conformatists
and pays homage to our dead rebels." Don't know who that's
by. While looking through the rest of my pages, realize that none
of my links are underlined, they're just in different colors. This
page is always under construction. E-mail me if something's totally
wrong. And if you plan on spending some time here, which I hope
you do, here's a hint. You know that annoying little pop-up ad that
Tripod has because I'm not rich enough to afford my own domain?
If you leave one of those open at all times, you won't have to wait
for it to reload every page.
