Us Youngins

Us Youngings,
Never experienced true love,
Our hands haven't cracked from hardwork,
We don't know what it is to be safe,
We've never had ice cream for a nickel,
Listen to "weird" music,

Us Yougings,
Didn't walk 20 miles, barefoot, uphill in the snow,
Both ways,
Don't talk like we should,
Don't live up to our parent's demands,

Us Youngings,
Never asked for the burden that life has so lovingly bestowed,

You old ones,
Whether you be 17 or 54 don't give us a chance,
You judge and
"when you judge people you have not time to love them"
Mother Theresa

I bet she never walked 20 miles, barefoot, uphill in the snow
Both Ways
