A   Poem   on   Tolerance

I took a walk yesterday,
barefoot,
On sand and concrete,
too hot to be meant for barefeet,
No one seemed to mind,
the heat felt good,
And my toes were free,
and if feet could smile,
mine would have smiled,
And said "hello world"
people don't let their feet,
out enough,
to play in the grass,
and the sun,
