Happenstance (Universal)

I wonder, do you ever think of me,
When the lights are off and life is turned low
And I wonder, with all the great things that you say,
Do you love me, Do you know?

In your idiosyncratic cavern,
With monolithic walls, so high,
Does something ever remind you,
Of me,
                  why?

  In happenstance it seems,
that I will a be alone to the end,
And baby, I don't really blame you,
But I don't want to be your friend,

I ruminate, I speculate, I rationalize and recall,
That when this life is over, it's a good lesson for all,
And baby, I know what I am worth,
More than your pity and the burden of this Earth,

 In happenstance it seems,
that I will a be alone to the end,
And baby, I don't really blame you,
But I don't want to be your friend,

I don't want to be your friend
