Until I too Believe

Tonight, I sink to your level,
Beneath the rubble of lies loved,
And love lost.
Sweaty and steaming in filmly midnights,
With the fan on,
And the lights off.
When the air clears,
I still stand,
Next to the arbitrary, blind,
Spellbound man.

Is it any wonder,
The stares I recieve,
Touch given out like flowers,
Kisses to deceive.

And I search for a reason,
Tell me to leave,
Cause I will spoonfeed them lies,
Until I too,
Believe.

In the days I’m scaling mountains,
Alone I lay at nights,
But once I reach the top all I see,
Is my raging fear of heights.
