In our thirteenth consecutive year, Assembly Line Winter Guard embarked on a journey exploring the moods and music of the classic rock group Styx. Remembering the impact of the songs on the winter guard activity in the eighties, we took the same music and created a montage of vignettes reminiscent of the time but incorporating the styles of today. The layering of vocal line and interweaving unique musical ideas created a sophisticated and complex sound track to which we "built" our performance. The audience was invited to relive the power of the past and the impact of the present!
