"Little Women"

  A classic story by Louisa May Alcott
Was one of the first American novels
written about family life.
It has always been one of my favorite
books and Jo is my favorite of the 4 sisters.
 I feel that she represents a great independent
woman in this time in history
~the civil war era~!

Jo wears her "Daily Dress'
A taffeta gown with white apron,
pantaloons and petticoat.
On her way to visit the Laurence
family she grabs her black velvet
cape and forgets her gloves (as usual).
