This is what life is all about! Cooking up some lobsters at Portland headlight. Mmmmmmmmm

Tonya...aka:ebonycatny cooking it up.

* Simple Recipe *

The BEST tasting lobsters are cooked simple! We went to Maine with just the clothes on our back and a few extra bucks. We bought the lobsters at the pier in Portland,drove to a hardware store & bought a metal bucket,drove to the beach,started the fire and I climbed down the rocks to get ocean water and seaweed. Bring it to a boil then put the lobsters in under the seaweed.Let them boil 'till done. About 15 mins. Believe me, the taste from the cooked seaweed and salt sea water make the lobsters succulent! Cooking over a wood fire outdoors also seems to help. No butter is needed. Just make sure you have nut crackers or a rock to break the shells with. Try it. Enjoy!
