BOZ PROFILE
John Bozanich
Background:/B>
His formal training began at Porterville College where he was certified in
all types of welding, a skill he uses in his work as a shoeingsmith. In 1981
he traveled to Colorado to attend the Monte Foreman School of Horsemanship.
Monte Foreman taught 95,000 students and only 22 ever received a certificate
to teach. There are only four left, and BOZ is #1.
As BOZ progressed in the horse world, his quest for quality equestrian
equipment grew. He could not find equipment to meet his standards, so he
began to design and make his own. His saddles and equipment are designed to
get more out of the horse in the easiest and most humane way possible.
In 1986 he attended the Porterville Horse Shoeing school, where he graduated
top in his class. He is a top shoeing smith and has since worked with
veterinarians correcting and treating horses with special problems and life
saving procedures.
In October of 1992 & September 1996, John traveled to Colorado to study
for five weeks under Master Bootmaker Larry Smith. Today he designs
and makes his own riding and training boots.
March of 1993 , BOZ set the World Record Symposium at the Great Western
Livestock Show. BOZ's performance was the first for the equestrian world.
Using his own designs, he built all the necessary equipment needed to break
the horse including the halter, bridle combo, lead ropes, split reins with
poppers, leg wraps, bit, spurs and The BOZ Race Saddle. In addition, he
shoed the horse and then started and rode the horse by using his BOZ Humane
Breaking and Desensitizing method. He rode the horse and taught him
mounting and dismounting on both sides, right and left leads, sidepassing,
forehand turns (left and right), backing and slide stops (The BOZ method of
throwing the reins forward).
THIS WAS ALL ACCOMPLISHED IN 5 1/2 HOURS.
March of 1996, BOZ designed the first Water Injection System for a saddle.
This cools off the horses back and in turn cools off the horse internally.
This system can be adapted to any BOZ Patented Saddles. The cool water is
ejected onto the horses back, it cools off the horses capillaries which cools
off the horses internally as you ride. This in another first of its kind and
is a tremendous way to keep your horses back and his body cool.
In July of 1996, BOZ traveled to confer with Hans Biglajzer, a master leather
craftsman of English saddles for over 50 years. John is now designing and
building a 20th Century High-Tech English Saddle.
BOZ has traveled throughout the United States and Canada teaching people how
to get the most out of their horse in the most humane way possible.
BOZ (John Bozanich)is the New #1 High-Tech Instructor, combining the old and
the new techniques of teaching and equipment. It gives him the advantage over
all others.
No other equestrian has John's BOZ ability, talent or expertise in this field.
BOZ stands alone at the top, unmatched by anyone. You may know of some
people in the equestrian field that have a great promotional staff, but DON'T
BE FOOLED!!!
