Philmont day 1 sort of it was kind of the bus ride up there
We all got to the Mall in Lancaster at 7:00am or a tad later. We all packed our gear into the charter bus and said our goodbyes and took our pictures.27 hours of bus riding awaited us not knowing what was in store for us from here in Lancaster ,Ohio to Cimmaron ,Mexico. The first couple of hours were pretty boring most people were getting their late well deserved and well needed sleep. Then we traded bus drivers and had a pee break then everyone was up and we actually did some stuff. We watched movies movies and more movies until we were going to kill the next movie we saw after a couple more pee breaks and food stops ,it was about nine or ten o' clock we all decided to go to sleep it was an Ok sleep for a while. Then it got real cold untop of that you couldnt fit in the seats to sleep definitly the 7 foot giant we had as a part of one of the 3 crews on the bus. After a good(I use that term loosely) nights rest we had our final breakfast before all those nasty dehydrated meals.about an hour later we were there, facinated by it's beauty,and all the shoes hanging from the gate *L*.
