This is a movie based on the true story of the Titanic, a ship that was considered 'unsinkable'- but wasn't. On its first voyage to America, it hit an iceberg & sunk, breaking in half while doing this. It still sits at the bottom of the Atlantic today. The difference is that the writers added a story of true love to make it more interesting. Jack Dawson wins his way onto a 3rd-class room on Titanic while playing poker, and Rose DeWitt Bukater is the 'poor little rich girl' who is dragged everywhere and all she wants is freedom. She gets it when she meets Jack, and wants to be with him- not her snooty fiance, Cal Hockley. This is a wonderful story, don't miss it on the big screen!
