Stephen Collins as Eric Camden

Emmy-nominated actor Stephen Collins is one of Hollywood's busiest talents, moving effortlessly between television, film and theater. In addition to starring in 7th Heaven, Collins co-starred with his wife, actress Faye Grant, in the feature film Drive Me Crazy portraying a once married couple and the parents of Melissa Joan Hart. Collins also starred in the television movie As Time Runs Out as a widower whose 6-year-old child is kidnapped. Television audiences are familiar with his work as Sela Ward's love interest in the critically acclaimed drama series Sisters. He also starred in the series Tattingers, Working It Out and Tales of the Gold Monkey. Collins has had starring roles in eight television miniseries, including The Rhineman Exchange, Inside the Third Reich, Chiefs, Hold the Dream and opposite Ann-Margret in The Two Mrs. Grenvilles, for which he earned an Emmy nomination. He played J.F.K. in A Woman Named Jackie, which won an Emmy for Best Miniseries. Collins took his love of acting in front of the camera to behind it to direct two of 7th Heaven's highest-rated episodes during the past two seasons. Collins' numerous feature film credits include The First Wives Club, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Brewster's Millions, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Promise and the critically acclaimed All the President's Men. Also an accomplished writer, his play Super Sunday was produced at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Collins is actively working on his third book while his first novel, Eye Contact, is now in its seventh printing and his second, Double Exposure, published in 1998, is now out in paperback.

Catherine Hicks as Annie Camden

In her many years as a professional actress, Catherine Hicks has amassed an impressive list of film, television and theatre credits. Born in Manhattan and raised in Scottsdale, Ariz., Hicks' starring role on 7th Heaven is her fourth television series regular role. She starred previously on the series Winnetka Road, Tucker's Witch and the popular daytime drama Ryan's Hope. This year Hicks will star with Mark Harmon and Mary McDonnell in the made-for-television movie love story For All Time. With a double major in theology and English literature from Notre Dame University, Hicks first became interested in acting after observing several of the school's stage productions. She later moved to New York and subsequently won an acting fellowship to Cornell University and received a Master of Fine Arts degree. Hicks' feature films include Turbulence with Ray Liotta, Francis Ford Coppola's Peggy Sue Got Married, The Razor's Edge and Sidney Lumet's Garbo Talks. She also starred in the movies Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Child's Play and She's Out of Control. Hicks received a 1980 Emmy Award nomination for Best Actress for her starring role in the television movie Marilyn: The Untold Story.

Barry Watson as Matt Camden

A natural in front of the camera, Barry Watson is nevertheless convinced that his success as an actor is just plain old good luck. In addition to starring in The WB's 7th Heaven, Watson shot his second feature film entitled Shearer's Breakfast over his summer hiatus. Filmed entirely on location in New Zealand, the thriller also stars Radha Mitchell and Josh Lucas. Last year, he made his feature film debut starring opposite Katie Holmes (Dawson's Creek) in Kevin Williamson's black comedy Teaching Mrs. Tingle. Prior to landing his role on 7th Heaven, the Traverse City, Mich., native made recurring appearances on the television series Malibu Shores, and has guest-starred on many popular shows. He was also featured in the HBO original movie Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman, starring Daryl Hannah. Watson's rugged good looks landed him in TV Guide as One of the Sexiest People on tv as well as in People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful issue.

Beverly Mitchell as Lucy Camden

Now entering her sophomore year of college, Beverley Mitchell appears to be a typical California teenager. What makes her unique is that she already has a number of television roles to her credit. Mitchell had a recurring role on the comedy series Phenom, starring Judith Light, and guest-starred on series such as Melrose Place, Baywatch and Quantum Leap. She also starred in the television movies White Dwarf, Mother of the Bride, Baby of the Bride and Children of the Bride, as well as the miniseries Sinatra. She made her feature film debut in the Paul Leder movie A Killing Obsession and co-starred in the film The Crow: City of Angels. Offscreen, Mitchell is an honor student and an active member of RADD Kids. She is adamant in the fight against drunk driving and drugs, and also participates in K-Mart Kids Race Against Drugs. When not working, Mitchell is dedicating her time to designing her own clothing line expected to debut later this year. She also enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, loves singing and working on photo albums to preserve all of her memories.

Jessica Biel as Mary Camden

Jessica Biel made her television series acting debut on 7th Heaven and has since emerged as a break-out star. Biel recently finished filming the Warner Bros. romantic comedy, Summer Catch starring opposite Freddie Prinze, Jr. which is in theaters now. Initially pursuing her vocal talents, Biel began performing professionally on stage at the age of 9 in productions such as Annie, The Sound of Music and Beauty and the Beast. A natural beauty, Biel soon turned to modeling and commercial work. She won a scholarship to the Young Actor's Space in Los Angeles after competing in the International Modeling and Talent Association's Annual Conference in 1994. Biel was featured in People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful issue. In an impressive display of versatility, Biel garnered rave notices for her portrayal as Peter Fonda's rebellious granddaughter in the critically praised feature film Ulee's Gold. The film, which earned Fonda an Academy Award nomination, was the centerpiece of the 1997 Sundance Film Festival and was screened in competition at Cannes. Biel also starred on the big screen in I'll Be Home For Christmas in a romantic role opposite Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

David Gallagher as Simon Camden

David was born on Feburary 9, 1985 in College Point, New York. He loves sports, and likes the music of Metallica. Gallagher appeared in three hit feature films, playing the title role in the direct-to-video sequel to the popular film Richie Rich, entitled Richie Riches: A Christmas Wish, starred with John Travolta, Kyra Segwick, Forest Whitaker and Robert Duvall in Phenomenon, and played the son of Travolta and Kirstie Alley in the successful comedy sequel, Look Who's Talking Now! David was recently nominated for the Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Award in the category of Best Performance by a Young Actor in a Drama Television Series making this his third nomination. He was honored with the award in 1998 in this category for his role on 7th Heaven.

Mackenzie Rosman as Ruthie Camden

Mackenzie was born on December 28, 1989 in South Carolina. She enjoys dancing, skating, and swimming. She also loves spending time with all of her pets. Rosman made her television debut as a series regular on 7th Heaven. Born in South Carolina, the 10-year-old moved to Los Angeles with her family when she was 4. Encouraged by a friend, her mother signed her up with a talent agency, and she landed her very first audition - Tufts Healthcare out of Boston. Mackenzie also appeared in a number of other national television commercials for products such as Hormel Hot Dogs and Nike.When she auditioned for the role of the youngest child, Ruthie, in 7th Heaven at the age of 5, Mackenzie impressed producer Aaron Spelling and others by walking up to each individual in the room, shaking hands and introducing herself. In addition to her role on the drama series, Mackenzie appeared in the independent film Gideon's Webb, starring Christopher Lambert, Charlton Heston and Shelly Winters. Rosman manages to balance school with acting by doing her homework on set in between scenes. She loves all animals, especially horses, and spends as much spare time as she can at the stables. In fact, she often donates her spare time to various charity events involving animals.

Adam LaVorgna as Robbie Palmer

Television audiences may recognize Adam LaVorgna from his starring role as Nicholas Scamperelli in the critically acclaimed series Brooklyn Bridge, for which he received the 1993 Youth in Film Award for Best Actor. Now, he joins 7th Heaven as a series regular portraying Robbie Palmer, Mary's (Jessica Biel) troubled ex-boyfriend who has moved into the Camden home and grown to become a member of the family. Born and raised in New Haven, Conn., LaVorgna has been working steadily in television and film since the age of 3, when he first appeared on the daytime series As the World Turns. His other television work includes the portrayal of young Frank Sinatra in the miniseries Sinatra and roles in the miniseries Degree of Guilt and Blood Brothers. On the big screen, LaVorgna has numerous film roles to his credit, including I'll Be Home For Christmas with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Jessica Biel, Beautician and the Beast with Fran Drescher, Milk Money with Melanie Griffith and Ed Harris, Monkey Trouble and Blast. More recently, he appeared in two independent features: Outside Providence and The Bumblebee Flies Away.
