1 ob. ground beef
3 1/2 cups canned tomatoes
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1/4 tsp.basil
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Brown ground beef and drain, then add rest of the ingredients. Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Top with slices of velvetta cheese and heat until nicely melted
