In the beginning
When all was new
The worries and fears of darkness were few
The world was bursting with happiness and cheer
And God's word the people did hear
But the devil struck and the merriment ended
And a reign of tyranny and evil descended
But God struck back with all his might
And sent the minions of evil in flight
And by his new rule did he decree
That choice was ours
Our minds were free
But evil struck back once again
This time in the realm of men
Swords and weapons were created
But have long since been outdated
Death of millions at the pull of a lever
Banishing victims from the world forever
But seeing the ucaring nature of man
Got took the matter into his powerful hand
He gave the idea that peace was a demand
Now our rulers do not fight for land
They make pacts that are signed by the shake of a hand
God made an advance in the war
And the souls of man shall not pass through Hell's door
