Christmas is just around the corner.  Do you need some gift ideas? Then you've come to the right place.  I like to give gifts that contain a hand made item because I think it's more personal.  Since crocheting is my favorite craft we'll discuss ideas for crochet gifts.  
  My favorite all time gift to give someone is a basket of related items.  I think that is so much fun to give and get.
This year for a change of pace instead of putting the items in a basket I'm putting them in crocheted stockings that have crocheted lace trim.  

Here are some gift basket or stocking ideas:


     Basket of bath items - bubble bath, shower gel, body lotion, a loofah sponge, crocheted washcloths, and scented candles.

     Reading basket - books in the person's favorite genre, magazines, crocheted bookmarks, snack mix
Gardening Basket - Garden tools, flower or vegetable seeds, garden gloves

    TV basket - Universal remote, snack mix, microwave popcorn  crocheted slippers to keep the tootsies warm, maybe a favorite video.

     Craft basket (my fave:) - yarn and crochet hooks, knitting needles, patterns, yarn needles

     Art basket - markers, crayons, paints, How to draw books, sketch pads, art paper, crochet pencil tops

     Doll basket - a fashion doll lke Barbie, and tons of clothes that you have crocheted for her.  (Someone gave me this gift one year when I was a little girl and I loved it. I had fashions for my doll that no one else had and I knew the person liked me a lot to go to so much effort)
