" Hey Michelle come fast or we'll be late for school. " shouted Sam as he added finishing touches to his hair.

" Isn't your friend here yet? " shouted Michelle from her room.

" Yes he is....he's outside waiting. Can you hurry the hell up!......Oh i give up! " said Sam as he flung his arms up in defeat.

" Sam.....why don't you invite Brian in honey. " said Sam's mother sweetly.

Brian peered through the doorway. " Some other time Mrs White....i promise."

" You'd better come for dinner tonight Brian and bring those other boys with you too okay. Ummm who are those........Alexander, Nickolas, Kevin and Dwaine. " replied Sam's mother smiling at Brian.

" Howie Mom.... not Dwaine okay! I have to go now see ya ma...love ya. " said Sam as he grabbed his bag.

" Okay honey see ya." Just as he stepped out "....SAM!.......wait honey!"

" What mom? " asked Sam peering through the front door.

" Wait for Michelle, here she comes. " Michelle came out of her room and proceeded to the living room where here mother was.

" Jeez Michelle....what took you so long? "questioned Sam looking a bit pissed.

" Girl's stuff Sam! " giggled Michelle.

" Oh brother! " exclaimed Sam leaving the house.

" Didn't you wait for Michelle? " asked Brian

" Na....i think she'll take long. "

" Ooook Sam whatever you say bro! "laughed Brian.

Meanwhile........

" Bye mom......" said Michelle as she kissed her mother. She ran out the door to meet her friends.

" Sam you lied to me! " said Brian with his hands on his hip.

" Excuuuse me? I did not Brian...." said Sam looking rather puzzled.

" You said Michelle was gonna be late, there she is.......see! " said Brian as he faced Michelle who was running to her friends.

" I didn't lie to you bro' i just thought she would take long with her GIRL Stuff. " Sam stressed.

Brian laughed out loud and so did Sam.

" And morever she's with her friends." said Sam.

Across the road......

" Hey you two...yeh you two, the one with the black hair and the dirty blonde hair...Freeze! " yelled a familiar voice out to Brian and Sam. The thin fella ran across the road to Brian and Sam.

" Hey Alex! " exclaimed Sam.

" How was your weekend man......" asked Brian as all three of them hi-fived.

" Come on let's go! Kevin, Nick and Howie will be waiting for us in the cafetria in school. " hooted AJ as he pulled two of them along who looked kinda puzzled.

" Hi Rachel...hi Suzy..."

" Hi Michelle...look your brother is running away from you. " giggled Rachel

" No......he's just busy with his friends that's all..." joked Michelle

" Hmmm i guess......." replied Suzy looking at Sam who ran with his friends.

The guys arrive at their school cafeteria........

" Hey there's Nick! " exclaimed AJ as he ran to the table in the middle of the buzzin' canteen. Brian and Sam follow suit. They sat down with the rest of the fellas.

" Hey guys! " started Nick whacking AJ on his shoulder.

" Oooi don't start Nickolas Gene Carter! " said AJ

" What's up you guys? " asked Sam as he put his bag on his lap and brushed his hair to the side.

Kevin started " Well fellas....there's a talentime coming up and we thought of........"

Howie cut him off " Excellent idea "

The rest of them looked at Howie " Ummm what i mean is......are you interested Brian? "

" Am i ever....oh yeah. " said Brian in excitement as he looked through the registration form.

" So that's settled then.......Sam doesn't want any part in this so that leaves the five of us okay? " explained Kevin.

" Yeah..cool. Why don't you want in Sam? " asked Brian.

" Number 1.... can't sing. Number 2......i hate performing and Number 3.....it's not my cup of tea. So there."

" How about coffee? " joked Nick.

The guys don't laugh and Nick goes red in the face.

" You guys are harsh man! " and they laugh at Nick.

" What?! I don't get it. " exclaimed Nick slapping his forehead.

" You don't get anything Nick! That's the joke " said Sam and they rolled in laughter again.

As Nick opened his mouth to say something but the bell rings.

" Okay see you guys..." said Sam as he rushed off with Kevin to classes.

The other guys clear the table and head to their respective classes.

Michelle and friends enter the school just then.

" Oh goood Michelle..... we're late....see you." said Suzy as she followed Rachel to Home Econs class. Michelle scurries off to History class.

5 hours of school was finally over......

The guys met up outside the school where they always met.

" Hey guys we are going over to Sam's today, his Mom has invited us for dinner okay you guys? " asked Brian innocently.

" Okay Brian let's go! " Nick says rubbing his tummy.

They get to Sam's house.

" Hi fellas...welcome to my home! " said Sam's mum as she opened the door.

" Hi mom "

" Hi Mrs White." choroused the boys as they gave her a hug each.

" Come on dinner's ready! " said Sam's mum as she put her final dish on the table.

" Thanks auntie!!! " exclaimed Nick as he jumped to the dining room. The other guys run to the dining room in hunger.

" Eat as much as you want boys, there's more where that came from. " said Sam's mum with a smile.

" Thanks auntie, you sit with us okay....come here. " said AJ as he brought a chair for her.

( Authors Note: Suzy and Rachel only followed Michelle to school everyday...the rest of the time Michelle is all alone in school. Suzy and Rachel are just crappy excuses for friends. )

Just then Michlle bursts into the house.

" Hi honey! " said her mom.

" Hey sis.." said Sam slurping his drink.

" Hi Michelle! " the guys choroused.

" Hey fellas..." replied Michelle as she went up to her room to rest. " Gluttons! " she mumbled.

The boys soon finish their meals and leave, thanking Sam's mum for her fine hospitality.

The Talentime takes place soon the very next day in the school hall. The whole school is pouring into the hall and Howie peers out from the curtains on top of the stage.

" I'm scared man.." said Howie looking at AJ.

" Don't worry D all will be well. " said AJ comforting Howie who had the pre show jitters.

" La lalalaaaaaa " sang Nick as he eased himself.

" Doowoop ah ha ah ha...." sang Kevin as he checked his voice.

" Come on guys let's do it.." said Brian and they hi-fived.

The school hall filled with people and very soon Sam and Michelle frantically found themselves searching for the best seats in da house.

" There! " screamed Michelle pulling Sam's hand as they ran to the front row.

" Its good we got front row seats. " said Sam looking around as more students poured into the hall.

" Yeah shhh....its starting! " said Michelle as the lights dimmed.

The noise died down as Mrs Berger the principal stepped up to the microphone.

" Testing......Welcome to Braddell High's Talentime 1993. " There's applause " This time just 4 groups compete for the cash prize of $1000. we hope you have a great time today and cheer your friends on. With this i introduce the first group ' The Supertones ' " There's alot of applause. They sing their song but really loose their harmonies in the end. Soon they are down to the last group. Mrs Berger comes out " And we are down to our last group. Let's give it up for ' The Untitled ' "

" The Untitled? " questioned Michelle looking at Sam.

" Don't look at me it was their idea! " said Sam and he pointed to the stage.

The stage curtains opened. They belted out a rendition of The Bee Gee's 'Words'.

" Their good! " exclaimed Michelle.

" I had no idea." said Sam with his jaw down.

Michelle giggled.

After their performance..........

" There we did it." said Brian drinking a cup of water.

" I love my voice man! "said Howie.

Mrs Berger came out with an evelope which contained the results.

" The Untitled The Untitled The Untitled...." Sam chanted softly.

Michelle looked at him and laughed.

" What? Don't you want to win?" asked Sam.

" Yeah i do but stop doing that okay.......hush up she's talking! "said Michelle.

" And the winners are.....* drum rolls * ............The Untitled!!! "shouted Mrs Berger very excited.

" Yes! " jumped Sam. The hall cheered and screamed. The girls were going nuts.

" AJ....AJ......we won. WE WON!" jumped Brian onto AJ.

" Ok god we did! " hugged Howie.

" Thank you god for all....." Kevin prayed.

" Come Kev not now! " said Nick cutting Kevin off.

They practically run out to receive their prize. They bow and exchanged enormous hugs. Michelle gave them a thumbs up.

They step backstage and they are congratulated by loads of friends.

Kevin searched for Sam and Michelle amongst the crowd. Nick spotted Sam making way to them through the crowd.

" Sam!!! "yelled Nick.

" Yeah i know! " and Sam and Nick hugged. Brian and the rest of the guys joined Sam and Nick in the enormous hug session.

" Hey guys...." trailed Michelle as she made her way to them.

" Michelle!!! " shouted the six guys and pulled her into the group hug. Michelle broke free from the hug.

" What's wrong Michelle?" asked Kevin rather concerned.

" Oh nothing really, i have to get home fast because i have an assignment due for tomorrow. I'll be leaving now boys..." replied Michelle.

" Okay gal see ya " said Brian breaking away from the hug. He hugged Michelle and released her.

" Bye see ya at home Michelle." said Sam. Nick, AJ and Howie hugged and released her.

" Ok bye! " Michelle waved as she disappeared into the crowd which was on backstage.

The boys and Sam decide to head home when............

" Hi i'm Pat. " the boys stopped to see a stubby man about 5'2" infront of them with his hand extended for a handshake.

" Ummm hi." said Kevin as he received his handshake. The other guys take a seat with Kevin and Pat on the chairs on the gound.

" I was one of the judges and i wonder if you boys are interested in making this your full time career." asked Pat as he looked at the boys.

" That's wonderful...i don't know what to say..." trailed Brian as he looked at the other four guys who nodded vigourously in agreement.

" We gotta discuss this at home Pat." said Howie who was very excited about signing the conttract with Pat.

" Okay discuss with your parents tonite and then one of you call me. " said Patt as he handed his cell number to Kevin.

They thank Pat and walk home with Sam.

" I say you guys should do it! "said Sam seriously.

" Yeah i really want it...i mean want to do it."said Howie touching their trophy.

" I know.....but the thought of leaving my family just...." started Brain.

" I gotta ask my folks but i know they'll agree."added Kevin.

" Alright i'm gonna be famous....those singing lessons did pay off." said Nick.

" Okay we will see ya Sam we're gonna gather all our folks at Kevin's house for a major disscusion. Wanna join in? "asked AJ

" Nah fellas i'm tired i gotta get home. See ya all the best! " said Sam as he hugged all of the fellas.

Sam goes back home tired with his eyes droopy. As he passed by Michelle's room he saw her sleep like a baby and covered her with her blanket and went to sleep.

That night all the guys ask their parents and they agree because they knew their sons where about to live their dreams.

Kevin rang Pat up.

" Hello? Is Pat there?" asked Kevin.

" Yes i'm Pat.....you're Kevin right? What's up?"

" They agreed but they wanna know more about the contract. We are at my place."

" Okay i'll be right over. " Pat came by to Kevin's house and discussed further details with the parents.

The next day, at the airport........

" Call Sam!" said Brian.

" I'm just about to..." said AJ as he borrowed Pat's cell phone.

" Hello is Sam there? "

" Yeah you guys, i heard about it. Have a good life man! Look after yourselves okay this is what you guys dreamed of......." Sam trailed off.

" Yeah man we'll miss you people. Is Michelle there?"

" Um nope. She left for school already. "

" Okay man....jeez...you will hear from us soon k....bye! " and AJ hung up.

They get on the plane and fly off to meet their dreams.
