"Thanks. . .but we both know i didn't come here for ice tea" LeighAnne
said
softly.
Brian took in a deep breath and said nothing for a moment as he
stared
at her intently "Then why are you here?" he asked quietly.
"Why am I
ever
around? You love Cordelia, fine. That is your decision. But I still
love you
Brian. And that is my decision" she said bluntly.
"Please don't do
this. . ."
Brian said hanging his head in his hands.
"Bri I am not doing anything.
. .you
have known this the whole time. You knew I would never stop loving you.
. ."
LeighAnne said quietly.
"Leigh I am happy please. . " he said his eyes
bearing
into hers.
"If you are as happy as you say you are then me loving you
still
doesnt matter. SHouldn't matter" she said pointedly as she took a sip
of the
drink.
Looking at her intently he sighed "Fine. . .you are right. . .I
love
Cordy. . .But LeighAnne" he said his voice taking on a warning.
Groaning Cordelia walked into the house with Brianna on her arm "Shh"
she
whispered as Brianna stirred in her arms. "Bri?" she called out softly
but
sighed knowing he couldn't hear her. Walking into the den blowing a
stray
piece of hair out of her face she froze "I don't want to know" she said
bluntly as she eyed LeighAnne and Brian.
"Oh Cordy let me help" Brian
said as
he stood up immediately blushing as he took Brianna from her arms and
refused
to look her straight in the eye "I will put her down into the crib" he
said
the quickly excused himself.
"So we meet agian" Cordelia said eyeing
her for a
moment.
"You look great. . .Doesn't even look like you had a baby" she
said
gently.
"Thanks. . I think" Cordelia said as she set the baby bag down.
"You
know you have made Bri really happy" she said slowly eyeing Cordelia.
Nodding
she said nothing for a moment "LeighAnne why are you here? And what do
you
actually think you will accomplish?"
