Cordelia was quiet. Was that what she really wanted? To be alone? Without him? 'You shouldn't ever stay with him cause you are afraid of being alone. You should only stay with him because you love him' she told herself.

"Well Cordy?" Brian's once determined voice came more akward and timid. Did she still love him?

"Brian how can you ask me that?" she asked.

"How can I not Cordy?" he asked.

"i dont know" she answered hanging her head.

"Cordelia just tell me you still love me" he said quielty.

"Oh God I do." she said but thought, 'I dont know if I can stay with you though'

"Fine then. I want to talk to my mother Cordy" he insisted.

"BRI" she began but he cut her off.

"no I am serious"

"How could you mom?" Brian demanded.

"Brian tell me you still don't love Leigh Anne" she demanded.

"Its not about that! My life is with Cordelia now." he insisted.

"Your life may be. But is your heart? And if it isn't then it is not fair to Cordelia. . .Believe it or not I am just trying to make sure you two dont make a grave mistake . .. and if you have I want you to fix it before its too late" she said quietly, "I know you are devoted to Brianna Brian and I know you love Cordelia God help you but is this right? For her and you?" she asked.

"Mother. . .I am trying the best I can. And I can't do it when you tell Cordy the things you have told her" he said.

"Ok then. . ."She said her voice trailing off.

"Good well I am sending for Cordelia to attend an award show with me-Will you please watch Brianna while we are gone?"

"Dont you just love London?" Cordelia asked herself to be greeted by the gray skies that threatend rain. SIghing she walked through the gate and into the terminal to see Brian moving from side to side a baseball hat low over his eyes so no one could really tell, but his bodyguard there just in case.

"Cordelia" he said quietly as he studied her face for a moment as his eyes looked into hers. Searching for something, that he wasnt even sure what it was.

"Hi" she said smiling tenderly through tears of relief, happiness, pain.

"Oh love" he said taking her into his arms and hugging her tightly

"How was your ride over?" he asked muffling his voice in her hair.

"It was all right" she said.

"Well what do you think?" Cordelia asked as she walked into the main room and twirled around to show Brian her simple black tube dress.

"You are beautiful" he said tackling her. Laughing he cushioned her as they fell to the carpet.

Stroking her flushed cheeks he kissed her nose "I love you Mrs. Brian Littrell" he said sincerly and at that moment he knew there wasn't anyone else. Too bad moments are just that.

Hearing a knock at the door Cordelia wiggled out from under him "Must be the champagne i ordered" she smiled at him. Sitting up he watched her go to the door and open it.

"Oh" she said in shock to see Leigh Anne's ready smile that also diminished.
