"Darling what is it?" Brian asked softly as he gathered her tenderly in his arms.

Sighing Nick walked out of the lounge to leave them alone. Turning her tear filled eyes Brian saw the turmoil that raged in her.

"I am sorry. So sorry" she wept.

"Sorry? Sorry for what?" he said gently as he stroke her hair softly.

"I loved him Brian. God I loved him" she managed between the heavings of her breath.

"Loved who?" he said quietly. Burying her face back in her hands

"JC....I am sorry Brian i loved him. I know i promised I would only love you.....I didn't know" she said as she let the sobs rack her body.

Brian stared at her. The delicate woman he loved so much loved another. "You? Love JC?" he whispered.

"I did. And I am hurting you by telling you....Shit you weren't suppose to know" she said crying harder.

"No no Love..." he said as he pulled her into his lap her satin dress making her slip slightly.

Burying her face in his chest she sobbed even harder "Forgive me...I still love you....I hate this...." she said.

Rocking her back and forth Brian knew he couldn't be mad at her right now. The pain he saw in her was too much.

"I just want us to be like that old couple in the corner" she wailed as Brian lifted his head up to see the old couple looking at them bewildered. Sighing Brian lifted her delicate chin up as he stared into her gray eyes

"Listen ok" he said softly. Nodding she bite her trip to keep it from trembling.

"We will work this out" he said tenderly as he wiped the tears from her cheek.

Letting her eyes fall till they were partly shut she took in a deep breath and let her body slump against his. The toxic pain that had lived in her was slowly being rinsed through her tears of greif for the love she lost and the strength Brian gave her.

"Where is she?" Nick whispered as Brian took a seat with the rest of them at the table.

"Is she OK?" Kevin asked before Brian could answer.

"Wait what??" Howie asked.

AJ shoot Brian a questioning look.

"She is fine. She is in the bathroom." he said as he finally let his face crumble. He remained strong for her but inside he felt his insides being cut apart.

"Brian" Nick said alarmed as he hugged him.

Brian shook him away "No. I don't want the media or the fans to see me like this. The last thing I need is a scandal" he said.

AJ's eyes grew wide as he plastered a smile on his face as he noticed several girls staring at their table from theirs

"What the hell is going on" he whispered.

"Not now" Brian said as his face straightend.

"I'll be back" Kevin said standing up.

"Cordy?" Justin questioned as he saw her emerge from the restroom. Surpirsed she looked at him like she didn't know him

"Oh hi" she said gently.

"What is going on?" he asked.

"Nothing is going on" she said as she casted her eyes downward.

"It's been a long time" he said quietly as he hesitantly approached her.

Plastering a smile on her face she shrugged "Things have been busy" Stopping inches from her he stared down at her "I am hurting. I will be ok" she said softly knowing she couldn't hide the pain from him.

"I've missed you. You were my best friend...and I thought JC was going to die without you" he said quietly.

"No stop" she said as she held up her hand feeling the tears she faught so hard to control well up.

"I'm sorry" he said as he pulled her into his embrace. Whimpering Cordelia relaxed in his familar arms.

"Oh Justin I am so confused" she admitted as she took in his familiar scent.

"Brian deserves a real try" Justin said gently. Looking up in shock Cordelia stared into the blue eyes that had always laughed and cried with her.

"What?" she said quietly.

"JC loves you. But Brian is in love with you Cord. And I think he is the best one for you" Justin said as he stroke her cheek absently.

Sighing Cordelia rested her aching head back on his firm chest "I've missed you justin randall timberlake."

"What?" a surprised voice said. Jumping away from Justin Cordy looked up to see Kevin staring down at them. His face clouded over.
