Photoshop Manipulated Photos

Adobe Photoshop is the program of choice for graphics and photo manipulation. I went to Rochester Institute of Technology a few years ago to study photography. To my surprize, I became very interested in computers (ILOVMYMAC!!) and learned to use Photoshop. I am by no means an expert but I enjoy working with it and have come up with some interesting things on my journey to learn how to use it. Below are some early attempts. I hope you enjoy them and I would love to hear your comments and critiques. Please feel free to E-mail me at Bodythyme@aol.com

The first photo was taken of the lighthouse at Cape Vincent in the Thousand Islands NY. It was a color photo that I scanned as black and white then applied filters to change the look and made the sun glow. The second and third are composites. The Walk is made with parts from 3 photos. the Little Lighthouse was made with parts from 5 different photos. We can never again trust that a photo is of a real event.

The original photo is of a tree reflected in the water at my favorite beach and above done 4 different ways with Photoshop filters. I love the variety of of effects that can change the mood of a simple picture.
