Biography:

Richards got his first break on The Billy Crystal Special. Then he became an ensemble member on the comedy-variety series Fridays for two seasons on ABC. But it wasn't until he landed the role of Cosmo Kramer on the hit NBC series Seinfeld that Richards became a household name. More recently, the funnyman has been developing a serious film career. He won raves for his portrayal of an offbeat uncle helping to raise his nephew in Unstrung Heroes (1995. His most recent film is New Line's Trial and Error, costarring Jeff Daniels.
