I'm very temporizing unless the decision just has to be made, a theatre nut (offstage, onstage, backstage, building stuff- you need it, I'll do it). I like scaring the children on Halloween (me as mummy this year- 6'4'' without the lifts...yes, there was screaming), reading sci-fi, technical articles and books on biology and playing soccer when I get the chance (which has been a bit). My fav book: "Crime and Punishment"(took four tries, there's a great love story under all the morality)/ TV show: lots of boring stuff on PBS (Buffy will be there when I can get WB)/movie: way too many. I spend my free time (hah!) singing in the choir, trying to find the slow car magnet in my car's grill and working on being a good Christian (some days I need more work than others). |

you got your PB name: I got the name Sita from the Christopher Pike
"Vampire Chronicals". Which I read a long time before I started to watch
buffy. The "Night" part of my name springs from the fact I post at night.
And someone dubbed me "Goddess" after seeing my pics! *hugs* (you know who
you are!),Dagger Power! (me and EvilSIT) We went to Magic Mountain on Saturday before the PBP and we won these
inflatible swords. We took them to the PBP and gave one to Joss. To which
he responded "COOL!" and we all said "Dagger Power!"...it's just our thing.

On the music front, BTVS opened my eyes to a lot of very talented bands, too numerous to list here, but I guess I'm what the average Jimmy would call the 'alternative' listener. Sarah has become my hero. In my case, her portrayal of Buffy has achieved exactly what she hoped it would - empower women and teach individuality. I like to think I would have come to these comclusions myself but for her prompting I am eternally grateful. Sarah is a very special person. Joss is also God. Stuff about you: What do I look like?:
Well, take a 300 lb. gorilla, give him a shave and
haircut, and then whack him a couple of times with a bag
of ugly bricks...(just joking! I'm kinda average).
Single, late twenties (big 3-0 comming up in October-ACK!); work full time as a dispatcher for a hospital. Don't have my own computer, so I'm pirating time of of the company's (yes, they know I do it; as long as I'm discrete and I don't embarrass them, they turn a blind eye to it. Plus, I sometimes pull usefull stuff of the net for them, so...). Attending UMASS/Boston part-time (working on my B.S. in Sociology). Favorite books: varies- mostly stuff like "Jurrasic Park/The Lost World", "Sphere", "The Andromeda Strain", "The Digital Man", "The Great Train Robbery", and other stuff by the big-time authors. Also like some little knowns like Michael O'Brian ("Father Elijah", Eclipse of the Sun", haven't read "Strangers and Sojourners"). Hobbies/Passions: Rookie Apologist- I'm a Catholic who tries to explain the faith. Got started when a anti-Catholic began hurling Bible quotes and suppose evidence that the Church is the "Whore of Babylon". So, I checked the facts, discovered the half-truths and lies, and showed the person where they were wrong. Been doing it ever since (about two years now). Pretty much self-taught. Favorite Movies: Highlander, Braveheart, The Mask of Zoro, The "Aliens" Series (especially Resurection [Evil Ripley!]), Starship Troopers, The Spitfire Grill, plus a lot of Japanese Anime (Ninja Scroll !) Can't think of anything else right now! |
