Drusilla
Driven Mad

Juliet Landau as Drusilla

Juliet Landau gives an excellent performance as Drusilla. She has the British accent down, and also does a fantastic job portraying a Vampire who is decidedly evil, but also very sexual and very, very insane. She handles Dru's psychic flashes and psychotic babbling with incredible adeptness. She is possibly the best actor on the show, considering how well she has done in this challenging role.

Drusilla also makes minor appearences as Spike's sidekick and a major baddie in Halloween, Passion, I Only Have Eyes For You, and Becoming Parts 1 and 2.

Drusilla

Drusilla is a Vampire who was sired by Angelus during his original orgy of torture and death. Before Angel knew her, she was a good Catholic girl who was called evil by her mother because she had precognative visions. Angelus met her by accident one night when he killed a priest as she entered the confessional. He fixated on her, and drove her mad by killing her family, friends and leaving nasty gifts for her (such as nailing a puppy to her door). When she had nothing left, she fled to a convent, but on the night she was to take her holy vows, Angelus made her into a Vampire. At some point she met up with Spike, and the two became lovers. She was injured and severely weakened when they were attacked by a mob in Prague, and Spike brought her to Sunnydale to protect her and find a way to make her strong again. Her strength was restored by a ceremony using the blood of her sire, and is now flirting with both Angel and Spike.
