"His strawberry
flavour words are luring me, drawing me,
I wake up feeling
cheap and beginning to bleed,
And I don't know
how, and I don't know why
I feel so cheap,
Wanna please but
begin to freeze, can't wait to go, chance I gotta seize
In his Ford, feeling
clawed, my bleeding makes me feel whored..."
I first heard Fluffy around January 1997. I had resubscribed to SPIN
magazine, and they sent me a free CD. I don't even think they were
supposed to send me the CD, it was for new subscribers, but hey, I wasn't
going to send it back. The CD had the song Black Eye on it, and I
thought that song was severely cool and had to get the album.
I had read a 2 page article on Fluffy in October in SPIN, and thought they
sounded pretty cool. What really got me was Amanda saying, "Buy our
records. I want a yacht." And the girls wisecracking comments to
reporters from every magazine you could imagine. I'll transcribe that article
eventually, it's not very long, one page of the article is a picture of
the girls' legs. How creative.
There has still been absolutely no word on
whether or not Fluffy is going to be resigned to another label, and there is a possibility we may never hear anything from the girls again, sadly. Most of the goodies available
in the Multimedia section are unavailable as of now,due to The Enclave going out of business, and frankly, I'm MUCH too lazy to put them back up...sorry.
Sadly, Fluffy broke up, but Amanda has a new band...Dave's Fluffy Page has the details. So I doubt this page will ever be updated again, which is quite sad, because it was rather lovely in its day. *sniffle for days gone by*
I Wanna Be Your Lush,
Kristy Weeellll,
thanks for reading my mumbling, you deserve a cookie! Maybe some psychofudge?
And now, to get to the real content of my page...
