I visited Morrill Cave also known as Worley Cave on Nov. 13 1998 with my good friend Larry Johnson. On our tour of obscure caves of (Barr) , However Morrill Cave is far from obscure. One of the longest caves in Eastern Tennessee it is very clean some small amounts of vandalism can be seen in the upper entrance but the rest of the cave is clean. The entrance sets in a large sink about 3 to 4 acres in size. The cave runs southwest for about a mile and a half there are numerous beautiful formations and many huge rooms which makes Morrill cave one of the nicest caves in Tennessee. Note: access is controlled and the cave is gated.

Below is a photo of the frozen waterfall formation. Taken by L.P. Foster in the mid 50's the frozen waterfall is one of the great formations of TAG. Take time to look it over and compare it with the photo I took of it above. It just shows how nice the formation has remained over the last 40 or so years.
