Erik Estrada is Officer Frank Poncherello(Ponch). He was trained by Jon Baker when he entered CHP, and became one of the best Central Officers. He is also a Karate black-belt fighter. He left CHP some years later and now is back to help his friends find and catch a car-theft ring.
