Coleman Jr. High School offers two courses of Integrated Science. In addition to the two courses, challenge courses are also available for both seventh and eighth grade students. The department has a full functioning laboratory that is presently being remodeled and updated to meet National Science Standards. Available to the students that desire to be more involved in out of the classroom science activities is a science club. The science department is also equipped with two fully operational portable lab carts.
