MY FATHER
My father, the coolest man I know, is a Capricorn and Pangasinan. Can anyone be any stronger, loyal, and family-oriented? He is very loving and equally firm. I have a white-hot temper, just like him. I am stubborn and won't take any crap from anybody, just like him. I cook a mean dinner, just like him. Everyone says I look just like him.
Pops, there is so much to be thankful for when it comes to you:
- For singing to me when I was little.
- For my curly hair that I used to despise, but with Domenico's help, learned to work with.
- For discussing politics with me, your bleeding-heart liberal daughter.
- For making me laugh with your strange sense of humor.
- For reminding me of the value of academics and higher education.
- For teaching me the importance of family and tradition. Long Live the Zamora Clan!
- For encouraging me to be the best at whatever I do.
- For loving me and not being afraid to show it.
- For being there for me, unconditionally.
- For everything you ever gave me, but most importantly, my life. (I think you contributed more than half of my DNA)
