4X01 "Herrenvolk" (Part 2 of 2) The alien assasin pursues Mulder and Jerimiah Smith to a remote Canadian farm where Mulder is amazed to see a cloned drone as a copy of his sister Samantha when she was a young girl. Returning to Washington DC, Dana Scully enlists the help of Mr.X to help her unlock the secrets of the uncoded data files found on each Jerimiah Smith clone (Talitha Cumi). Meanwhile forces within the consortium group are on the trail of Mr X, who they now know is leaking information to Mulder and Scully. This could be the end for Mr.X. When the photo is developed, it shows the woman screaming in terror. Mulder theoreorizes that this is a case of "thought photography" the kidnappers mind imprinting itself on the photo. More woman are abducted, they all eventualy turn up, but in catatonic shock, and muttering the word "unruhe". The killer - Gerry Shnauz abducts the women to operate on there frontal lobes with an ice pick. Scully has become his newest obsession. Will Mulder find her intime. Mulder and Scully investigate into a local family known as the Peacocks who live in a house with no heating, running water or electricity. It seems that this family have been breeding there own everything. Horror, get's worse, as the Peacock brothers murder the local sherif and his wife to a cool "Johny Mathis" theme tune. The murders seem to be following the pattern of a myth called the "Teliko". Referred to in African folklore as "Spirits of the air, that kill in the night". Written By : Howard Gordon Directed By: James Charleston Rating: 5.5/10 4X05 "The Field Where I Died" Mulder and Scully assist on a raid on a religeous cult known as "The temple of seven stars". Mulder is some how drawn to one of the cult leaders wives - Melissa. During an interogation with her, she displays multiple personalities. Claiming that she once knew Mulder in a past life. Melissa takes Mulder and Scully to a field, where she tells Mulder he died here once. Mulder under goes regression hypnotherapy in which he remembers himself in a past life, as Sullivan Biddle, he can also see Scully - his sergent in a past life. A simple procedure of liposuction is supposed to be carried out on a young woman. But the doctor seems to become posessed and does the procedure on another patient, but can't seem to stop himself, and kills the patient. Mulder suspects witch craft is the reason for this and several other incidents that occur. From his dream he is able to locate the body of a young girl who is lying with a torn "paper heart". Mulder remembers John Lee Roache, a man whom he put away years before for murdering young girls. He always left a paper heart as a clue. But this new body means that there was more murders than admited to be. Mulder with Scully as his aid desperatly is in search of the other paper hearts. Inside the rock is the oily black substance seen in (Piper Maru / Apocrypha). The substance known as the black cancer can kill you. Mulder and Krycek travel to Tunguska in Russia. Where Mulder is about to meet his end, as he is injected and infected with the black cancer. TO BE CONTINUED.. Mulder awakens from experimentation, and get's his own back with Krycek. Krycek later escapes and has one of his arm's cut off - because they think he has been infected. Meanwhile Mulder gets back to the USA, where he and Scully try to stop someone who is killing all evidence of the project - Black Cancer. In which anything that the chappucabre touches becomes infected. Written By : John Shiban Directed By: Tucker Gates Rating: 5/10 4X12 "Kaddish" A Jewish folklore tale brings Mulder and Scully to a case of a kind of like "rebirth" in which a dead man returns, but made of mud. Mulder and Scully are on the trail of the legendary mud monster. During her investigation she meets Ed Jerse, the pair go out on a date But what Ed isn't telling Dana, is that he has a talking tattoo, that doesn't like other women involved with Ed. I think we can assume that Ed and Dana spend the night together, but the tatto is about to order her death. And Scully get's a tattoo.. Scully reluctantly agrees after examining the severed head, revealing that the dead body was made up entirely of cancer cells - potentialy giving Betts the oportunity to regenerate body parts. A shock in store for Agent Scully. Mulder is ready to make the deal of the century with Cancer Man, so that he might save Scully's life, will Skinner get there first. A commercial jet plunges to the ground killing all on board. Mulder and Scully learn that Max Fenig (Fallen Angel) was onboard, but Mulder suspects that Max was abducted during flight. Mulder will almost certainly find truth at the bottom of lake Sackandaga. Mulder and Scully try to piece together this disaster that is being put down to human error by the Military. And so it happens. Mulder and Scully investigate into a very scientific case, that results in a man (Jason Nichols) returning from the future to stop himself from doing what he is about to do. Written By : Howard Gordon & David Greenwalt Directed By: James Charleston Rating: 7.5/10 4X20 "Small Potatoes" Mulder is suprised to hear that Amanda Neligan has just given birth to a baby with a three inch tail, of which there have been several babies born like so, over the past few months. Mulder tracks down a hospital janitor, who has a scar at the base of his back - suspecting that he is the cause, he is put under arrest. The man (Eddie Van blundht) played by Darin Morgan, shape shifts and escapes arrest. He later shifts into Agent Mulder returns to Washington with Scully, and wraps up the case. Then he arrives at Scully's apartment ready and awaiting to seduce her.. Will the real Mulder arrive before the kiss. He must cover-up the death of a woman killed by bee's carrying small pox, if he wants the CSM to help dying Scully. Apparitions and death omens are at the centre of this episode, in which Scully will have an encounter of her own. Scully becomes concerned for him, when it is discovered that he is suffering memory loss, and is the only suspect in a brutal double murder. Written By : RW Goodwin Directed By: Kim Manners Rating: 7/10 4X24 "Gethsemane" (Part 1 of 2) ** SEASON FINALE ** Mulder and Scully go head to head in this years season finale, and fans will be shocked by a betrayal. Mulder believes that he has found the ultimate proof of the existance of extraterrestrial life buried and well preserved in an ice cave in the Yukon Territory (Canada). Meanwhile, Scully's cancer has matastasized, meaning that the end is very near. Scully believes that she has found the truth to the lies, and when Mulder is told that he is the reason that Scully was given cancer, the pressure becomes too much, and he apparently commits suicide..
