Pokémon Stadium

Pokémon Stadium (1) has been out in Japan for quite some time now, and Pokémon Stadium 2 is in the works. In Pokémon Stadium, only around 120 Pokémon were included. Which ones were included? I don't know. I have never played Pokémon Stadium before. A few things about how the Gameboy game is going to import your Pokémon into full N64 glory is known, though.

A small accessory that comes with the gamepak is the 64 GBGP (Gameboy Gamepak). The 64GBGP plugs into the port in the backside of your N64 controller, and then you plug your Gameboy Pokémon cartridge into the 64 GBGP.

A cool feature of the game will be the ability to save your friend's Pokémon and save it to the cartridge, so you will be able to battle your Pokémon against your friend's anytime you wish! You will also be able to save your Pokémon to the 64 cartridge so you have more room on the GB game.

Pokémon Stadium has only 120 characters because of memory constraints, but Pokémon Stadium 2 will solve this problem with a 32 Meg cartridge (As big as Turok 2 or Zelda 64). The end result however, will be that we will more than likely receive Pokémon Stadium 2 rather than Pokémon Stadium 1. PS2 hasn't even been released (did you think PS2 stood for Playstation 2? hope not) in Japan, and it takes even longer to make it to the US for translation. Meaning, we may not get a chance to play Pokémon Stadium until 2000. Wait a bit longer for your Pokémon...
