Woohoo! Starfox 64! This game is 96 megabits of killer action.

Starfox 64 should be thankful, as it became the ultimate successor to Starfox 2, which was originally planned to be on the SNES. Starfox 2 would have had many options that Starfox 64 has. It was supposed to have a mode similiar to SF64's All-Range mode, and a two player multiplayer game. From the pics I saw, it seems that they used pretty much the same engine in terms of ships and the Arwing's appearance.

This game quickly became a million seller. The game has about 24 Megabits of speech, which is about 3/8 of the total memory. This game has a whole lot of speech. I also think they picked the voices pretty fairly, with the exception of Slippy. No one one is sure if (s)he is a guy or girl. Could go either way, I suppose. Aren't some frogs asexual, anyway?

This game's plot is a lot better then Starfox's was for the SNES, although it is if SF didn't exist, cause this is supposed to be their first encounter with Andross again. More about Fox's father, James McCloud, is told about in this game, and the mysterious black hole apparently sucked itself in.

Fox is also constantly hunted by a rogue squadron hired by Andross to destroy the Star Fox team. Their ships are Andross' 'Wolfen' class starfighters.

The Star Wolf's team leader is Wolf O'Donnel, Fox's equivalent who is trying to best him in combat. The other members include Pigma Dengar, who became the Benedict Arnold of the Star Fox team and turned James McCloud in to (not in the sense that he transformed him) Andross; Leon Powalski is a chameleon (hence -LEON) who likes to make his oppenents suffer before he defeats them - do him a favor and do the same - and Andrew Oikonney, Andross' wussy grandson. Shoot em all down.
