Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

After defeating the Campaigner in Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Tel-Set threw the Chronosceptor into the mouth of a volcano, destroying it. This unwittingly releases the Primagen, an ancient, evil being from the beginning of time; a popular place where many evil masterminds seem to come from these days.. The Lazarus Concordance realized the Primagen's threat to the stability of the universe, and created Energy Totems at various locations in the Lost Land to stabilize the Primagen's power and keep him imprisoned. Since the Primagen's awakening, the new Turok, Joshua Fireseed, has been chosen to protect the Energy Totems at all costs. Guided by Adon, the Speaker of Forever light, Turok will enter the Lost Land and become befuddled and confused by its labrinths...

...which is true. Turok 2's maps are INSANELY difficult.

Graphics: 9.0 Graphics: The graphics are great and they really shine with the Expansion Pak. Extremely gory in nature. Heads, arms, hands, chests and legs explode into bloody death scenes.

Music/Sound: 8.0 Music/Sound: Ambient sounds are nice and so are the stage themes

Play Control: 7.5 Play Control: Expert controls take some time to get used to. If you're an avid Goldeneye player, stick with Arcade, although Expert gives you more precise targeting.

Originality: 8.5 Originality: Turok's been around since the 50's as a comic book, and it's only gotten better since.

Challenge: 10.0 Challenge: This game is extremely, extremely challenging. No joking. You could be stuck on a map for hours.

Replay Value: 6.5 Replay Value: The maps are seriously not fun if you forget a single objective. If you reach the end and still have some objectives incomplete, you'll restart at the beginning. The maps are filled with maddening mazes which are guaranteed to drive you insane.

TOTAL RATING: 8.25 While the single player mode may be infuriating, the multiplayer modes are awesome, especially Frag Tag (who's the monkey now?!).
