In 1987, a bold new project was launched about a new starship crew.
Fast Forward to the year 2363. A lot has changed in the Federation since
the time of Captain Kirk. There is a new crew and a new ship.
The fifth ship to bear the name, USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-D is a Galaxy Class
starship built at Utopia Planetia Fleetyards above the planet Mars.
It is over five times the size of the original Enterprise and provides
quarters for not only the crew, but their families as well.
