My name is Miribelle. I have had a rough start in life so far, in just my first twelve days. I was thrown in the dumpster with all my brothers and sisters and left to die. Two nice ladies, who who started "Compassionate Pug Rescue" (CPR) in Southeast Florida, saved the life of me and one of my sisters. Now, I live with my foster mom in Orlando.  another pug rescue lady. When I am bigger, I will get to go to my forever home.
HEY!  I think I smell food over here!!  And I think I can walk to it!
While I eat, rest and get bigger, please come back and visit me often. My foster mom will take alot of pictures of me!
I'm sooo tired, could you please just lend me a hand?
So far, I'm holding my own!
Ain't I cute?
She sees Cocoa in the living room with the other kids.
Kisses first...
Miribelle tells Cocoa,
"I Love You"
Miribelle heads for the house
Miribelle hangs out in her favorite spot, until she sees Cocoa!
Now that she can walk pretty good, Miribelle searches for Cocoa

Miribelle and her foster family
Oh yeah? Well, I've got all my teeth now! And I can bite you!
Miribelle grows up!
I know I saw an ant here somewhere!
Hey!! Wanna play with me?
Did YOU see where that silly ant went?
I was going to take a nap, but I think I'll go see what's in Sarah's room.
Aaaaaahh....The perfect spot.....A pair of Sarah's boxer shorts.........
Eeeeewww! Don't EVER bite into an aloe plant! Yuk!
I really am getting bigger...honest!

Miribelle's New Forever Home
Miribelle has gone to her new forever home. Although we miss her terribly, she is in heaven, with her sister Baby, and a huge yard, just full of places to explore. Baby and Miribelle spend most of their day just exploring and checking out the creek.
Looking down Shingle Creek
Looking across the creek
This is Miribelle and Baby's yard, looking out at the dock on the creek.
Miribelle and her foster family have a day of fun
She still loves her foster mom Carol, and her foster sister, Cari
But, other than her new daddy, Miribelle's favorite person will always be her foster sister, Sarah. Here, they enjoy some good ole wrestling on the dock, but stop for a second for a pic.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and kind thoughts and prayers during Miribelles rescue and development. She started out in a dumpster, left to die by unscrupulous humans, and ended up one of the happiest little ones I have ever seen. Her personality is unmatched. And a special thanks to Steve, for giving Miribelle her new forever home.
Miribelle ("Belle") Jan. 2001
Yes, I still love water!
And I still love to wrestle with my foster brother, Cocoa. Only now, I'm bigger!
Can't hardly believe it's me, can ya?
Just look close at this happy face and shining eyes.
Look R-E-A-L close....It's me!
Ain't I beautiful?
I'll share my water with you Cocoa, but watch out for that fish!
Don't forget, I'm only about 8 mos. old, and I have some growing yet to do.
C'mon Tiny Baby, let's go play!
C'mon Otis, I wanna show you something I found in the yard.
I listen to my dad when he says to sit down and show off my beautiful coat
My dad calls them "sprinkler heads" Sometimes, they shoot out water!
Miribelle and Cocoa give kisses good-bye. But just for now, because next time, Belle is coming over to visit at our house!!
