CAROLYN   MARINO   ONLINE

Hello to those who enter this site! This is my first try at my very own web page and I'm quite excited about it.

About me: I was born July 14, 1949...gosh that makes me kinda old, eh? I was adopted at birth by two wonderful folks...any other adopted people out there...e-mail me - let's share stories...perhaps someday I will include "my story" somewhere on this page. I have three wonderful sons...Ken, who is married to the most wonderful lady in the world, Kim...they have a beautiful and smart little girl, my grand-daughter, Fiona Wren! My middle son, Todd is married to a sweet gal, too, Sabine...they too have a beautiful daughter - Melinda. Then, comes son #3 - Jay...he just turned 14 and drives me crazy - but I love him, too! He is currently into aggressive roller blading and surfing...

My husband is Frank, and he is addicted to golf - anyone out there married to a golfer? His other interest watches. I start to get nervous when I catch him checking out the watch web sites!

We live in a mostly wonderful town...it is an island actually, called Ocean City. The town prides itself on being a "Family Resort." The summers here are really not too much fun for us locals! We go from a town of about 15,000 people year 'round to 150,000 in the summer! We are invaded by "shoebbies." "Shoebbies" as our visitors are called goes back to the early 1900's, when people would come down to the seashore for the day and they would bring their lunches in shoe boxes to eat on the beach...hence shoebbie! One thing that makes Ocean City a real family town is the fact that it is a dry town...you can't even get a drink at a restaurant, nor are there any bars or liquor stores to be found.

My interests are many, with too little time to pursue a whole lot...sounds familiar? One of my big projects is a three story dollhouse which right now resides in our attic until I have more time! My other loves are my computer, art, reading and watching just a few tv shows, like "Touched By An Angel", "First Edition", i.e. non-violent shows. I work part-time at the Rosin Senior Center as the secretary. I say my title should be "Secretary, et al". I work for a great non-profit agency and for the first time in my life I can truely say - "I love my job!"

On the following pages I will (hopefully) keep current my Wish Lists for my refunding premium addiction. To those of you with the same addiction - perhaps we could trade!
