Will of Benedict Worrall of Leighton Buzzard

In the name of God amen the eighteenth day of July in the Tenth Yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Anne by the Grace of God of Great Brittaine ffrance and Ireland Queene Defender of the ffaith Anno Domini 1711 I Benedict Worrall the older of Leighton Buzzard in the County of Bedford yeom being of good health of body and of Sound and perfect Mind and memory God be praised therefore doe make and ordayne this my Last W ill and Testament in the Manner and forme following (that is to say ) ffirst and principally I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator (wishing to be saved ) by the only Merrits of Jesus Christ My Redeemer my body I doe Comitt to the earth decently to be buryed and for my Worldly Goods and Estate I doe dispose thereof as follows Imprimis I doe give unto Susannah my daughter now wife of John Gregory the summe of twenty pounds of Lawful Money of Great Brittaine to be paid unto her by my Executor out of my Personal Estate within one yeare next after my decease Item I give unto Mary my daughter now wife of John Pitkin the summe of twenty pounds Lawful money of Great Brittaine to be paid to her by my Executor out of my personal Estate within one yeare after my decease Item I give unto my Said daughter Susannah Wife of John Gregory and Mary wife of John Pitkin all my household goods and furniture for household to be equally divided Share and Share alike Item I give unto my Grandchildren Elizabeth Daughter of Benjamin Worrall my son Elizabeth Gregory Susannah Gregory and Anne Gregory Children of the said Susannah my Daughter and Mary Pitkin daughter of the said Mary Pitkin my daughter the summe of five pounds a piece of Lawfull Money of Great Brittaine to be paid by them unto my Executor out of my personall Estate when and according as my said grandchildren shall attaine the age of one and twenty yeares and if any of my said grandchildren shall happen to dye and depart this Naturall Life and not to arrive at the said age of one and twenty yeares then in such case I doe give the said Legacye or Legacyes of him her or themso dyeing unto my Execs hereafter named Item all the rest residue and Remainder of my Money Goods and Chattells and my personal Estate whatsoever unbequeathed , after my debts legacies and funerall Expences shall be paid and discharged I doe give and bequeath unto the said Benedict Worrall my son and I doe ordayne and make the said Benedict Worrall my son full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament , And I doe hereby revoke all former Wills and Testaments by me made or spoken and doe pronounce and declare this present to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written Benedict Worrall Senr in the presence of us who have hereunto set hands in the presence of the Testator John Swinstead John Ashwell Dorothy Hack her mark
