Will of John Daws of Stapleton

16 April 1749 In the Name of God Amen - I John DAWES OF THE Parish of Stapleton being in sound mind but being afflicted in body willing to settle my Business before my Departure out of this Life in the following manner viz

I Give and bequeath unto my Son John Dawes one shilling Item I Give and bequeath unto Jonathan Noah one shilling Item I Give and bequeath unto my son William Dawes one shilling Item I Give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Dawes one shilling Item I Give and bequeath unto my Son in Law James Colston one shilling Item I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Dawes one shilling Item: I Give and bequeath unto my Wife Susanna Dawes all my Goods & Chattles household goods and all my Working tools Stock and all debts Due to the Said John Dawes to my wife Susanna Dawes all Other Wills that may be made of John Dawes now consented to, this being my Last Will and Testament as Witnessed my hand the Sixteenth Day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty-nine.
