John Rundell of Talskiddy 1813-1897

This is the last will and testament of me, John RUNDELL of Talskiddy in the Parish of St. Columb Major . I hereby direct that all my just depts. and funeral expenses are paid first out of my assets which I may leave at my death and if there are any left that I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliza Ellen the sum of five pounds. I also give her my own bed and bedding, the clothes box in which I keep my best clothes also the four legged table which I bought at Winnards Perch,the leaf table, the best looking glass, the clock, the spring balance, the bees, the pig if there be one together with all the produce in the garden and the eatables in the dwelling house at the time of my death.

O give unto my son Thomas the grinding stone now in my garden. I give to each one of my children as may continue to live in village of Talskiddy, or as may live nearest to the village the copper kettle, which said kettle to be lent for the use of the Talskiddy Sunday school Sunday School treat when required, the kettle to be returned within three days. I give unto my son James the granite pigs trough which is now in my pig's sty. I give to my daughter Mary MOYSE my book case. I give to my daughter Jane the bedstead which was formally my wife's mother's. The remainder of my property if any is to be equally divided between the whole of my children living at my decease. Share and share alike and I appoint my daughter Eliza to be the executor of this my last will and testament. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Thomas Allanson and William Tink.
