Will of Jacob Hannell Skinner of London

I Jacob Hannell Skinner of London being sick in body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be therefore given to Allmighty God but calling to mind the brevity and uncertainty of this transitory life doe make and declare this my last Will and Testament revoking all former by me made or meant in manner and forme following ffirst and principally I comit my soule into the hands of Allmighty God my Creator with assured hope that through the merits of my Saviour I shall receive remission of all my sins and my body I give to the Earth from whence it was taken to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Overseer hereafter nominated Item as concerning my temporall Estate which God hath been pleased to blesse me withall and bestow upon me I give and bequeath as follows Item I will and require that all my Debts sicknesse charges and funerall expences be well and truly satisfied and paid Item I bequeath and will to my elder Brother Edward Hannell of the parish of Leighton Buzzard in the County of Bedford the sume of Twenty shillings of lawfull money of England to buy him a Ring Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Jeane Walter Widow the sume of Twenty Pounds to be paid at a yeares end of my decease and unto her two children John and Elizabeth the sume of Tenne pounds apiece Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother Abraham Hannell of Hockley in the County aforesaid Tenne shillings to buy him a Ring and the like sume unto his Wife Rebekah to buy her a Ring And to their six children Edward John Elizabeth Rebekah Alice and the other whose name I know not the sume of Tenne pounds apiece Item I give unto my Brother Isaac of Leighton aforesaid Grocer and to Anne his wife Tenne shillings apeice to buy them Rings and to their five children Isaac Elizabeth Anne Sarah and the other whose name I know not the sume of Tenne Pounds apeice All which sumes of Tenne Pounds apeice given unto the Children aforesaid my will is should be paid to every and each of them with the lawful interest therof after my decease as every or each of them shall come or attaine unto the age of one and twenty yeares or shall be marryed which shall first happen But if it happen that any one of them shall dye before the said Money become due unto them then my will is that the sharre or parte of each of them soe dying should be equally divided amongst the then livers Item I give to Mr William Smithes wife my Mistress Tenne shillings to buy her a Ring And to Mrs Bowden Widdow her Mother Tenne shillings to buy her a Ring Item I doe appoint and ordaine my wellbeloved Brothers Abraham and Isaac to be joint Executors of this my last Will
