Library of the Month
The P. H. Sullivan Museum, at 225 W. Hawthorne St., Zionsville, IN 46077,
phone 317-873-4900 is a Midwest treasure. Within the last year,
over 1100 genealogy volumes were donated to them. For several years,
the staff has been putting obituaries on 5 x 8 cards
from all the county(Boone)newspapers going back to the late 1800's.
Research also covers Pike Twp., Marion Co., IN, and Clay Twp.,
Hamilton Co., IN. Librarian Mrs. Mary Ann Doyle is extremely helpful.
This museum is a real find for researchers!
Call for hours. (research can be accomplished via mail as well.)
If going in person, Zionsville is also
a delight to visit with its brick streets,
nice restaurants, and many antique shops.
