6. I have received messages from someone that has information on Hawkins that originate in Vermont. There are two different branches, one in Calais (pronounced callous by the local pop.) and another in Rutland. I haven't been able to piece them in as yet. As for the family tree, the oldest member is Abraham b: 4/2/1786, wife Unknown. Their son: Almon b:???, m: Elsina Flint. Their son: Darius Emery b:???, m: Emogene King. Their son: Merne Darius b: 1875 m: Beulah Goodal. Their son: Merle Aseph Hawkins. Any clues would be greatly appreciated about Abraham and older. There is an Abraham listed in the Michigan? census of 1900 who was born in VT in 1833. An 1820 and 1830 census lists an Abraham in both Calais and Rutland VT. Thanks, Maurice

12. I have a Flora Hawkins, d/o Augustine Hawkins and Susannah Carr, who married Christopher Choate late 1600s, early 1700s in Baltimore or Anne Arundel Co Md. Because the two succeeding generations (moved to Lunenberg VA in 1720s or 1730s) are a mess of three sons all naming their sons the same names I can't trace a direct line. Any input? Jan

13. My grandmother was named THOMAS Anna Hawkins (not Tomasina - Thomas) - I've always thought that quite odd particularly since her father was named John Hawkins, mother was Susan Pitts. I know these people were supposed to be born in KY but I do know they did live in Indiana for a time. 14. H(enry) Z(achriah) HAWKINS was born in TN per census record of 1860 Izard County Arkansas. Moved to Independence Co., Arkansas and then Sharp County Arkansas. He also lived in Missouri for awhile. He was married about three times and had a wife named Nancy born in KY per 1860 census record. He also had a daughter named Sarah Ellen Hawkins that married Abraham Issac "Ike" Eason. He was living in Sharp County Arkansas 1880. He had a son that went north and fought with the Union Army. 15. I am searching for the parents of Sarah Ann Hawkins b. Aug. 31, 1845 in Ohio or Pennsylvania, married Uriah Booze (1849-1924) on June 19, 1869. They had 12 children and died and are buried in Cummings Cemetery near Maud, Oklahoma. Carolyn Tebeau
