1.  Looking for Mr. ____HAWKINS b. 1812-1835 TN, m. Mary Ann JACKSON
    (went by Ann in census).  Ann was b. 1835 TN.  Known children:
    1) Robert Crusoe (Robert C., RC, and sometimes listed as RH) born
    1835 TN, m. Mary Ann STEWART b. 1858 AL.  Married in Baxter Co., 
    AR.  Robert became a physician, certificate from Little Rock, AR.
    2)Rossberry (Ross B., Rasberry, Rosebury) b. 1858 TN, m. Eliza
    Ellen BOX in AR.  Ross was a carpenter in AR.  Please send

2.  Need info on GGGrandparents, Joshua and Lila(HAWKINS)TAYLOR.  
    Joshua was born in VA, date/place unknown.  Joshua and Lila were
    living in Stewart Co., TN when my grandfather Lee Andrew TAYLOR
    was born 9-28-1863.  If you have any info on these folks, Lila in
    particular, please contact jmcclint@swetland.com


3.  Did you have Hawkins folks in the Clarksville, AR area?  Carleta 
    would like to hear from you- her mother was a HAWKINS from 
    Clarksville, grandfather's name was Aaron Rance HAWKINS born
    6-21-1898 in Clarksville, d. 11-30-1968 Fort Smith, AR, m. Cleo
    LANEER 8-1-1922 Muldrow, OK.  Aaron and Cleo moved back to 
    Clarksville where they had 5 children.  if you can shed some light
    on HAWKINS in this area, please write ccurrie391@aol.com


4.  Maurice Royal HAWKINS needs some help in getting past a stone wall
    in his Hawkins research...the dead end is at Royal Wallace HAWKINS
    who was b. ~1836; paretns, date/place of birth, siblings are
    unknown.  Royal m. Caroline HARVEY 12-12-1856 in Macoupin Co, IL.
    Royal was a Civil War veterean, enlisted on 4-19-1861@ Alton, IL,
    and was mustered in as a private in Company G, 9th Regiment, IL
    Infantry, for a period of 2 months on 4-25-1861.  He was stationed
    in Springfield, IL, and mustered out on 7-26-1861.  The family
    Bible lists sons- Franklin b. 10-5-1858, and Edgar C. b. 6-25-1862
    but no further info is available about them.  They were not with
    the family when the 1870 census was taken.  A daughter, Mary Ann,
    was b. 10-16-1866 @ Virden, IL.  Sometime between Oct. 1866 and
    July 1869 the family moved to Luray, MO.  A son, Abraham Lincoln
    HAWKINS, was born to Caroline and Royal on 7-4-1869 @ Luray, MO.
    Only 23 days after the birth of Abraham L., Royal Wallace was
    drowned in a tragic accident while crossing the Mississippi River
    from Keokuk IA to Hamilton IL.  Caroline, Royal's widow, was 
    living with her parents in Luray MO at the 1870 census.  She was
    widowed 2 more times and had more children.  Please send any info

5.  Does the name Uriah HAWKINS appear in any of your files?  This
    Uriah lived from 1731 to 1809, was married twice to a Deborah and
    and Elizabeth(no last names available).  Uriah had a son named
    Rufus-  Rufus married 3 times...the first wife was in Rhode 
    Island, a lady named Abigail EDDY.  2nd wife was Mary CALKINS(no
    info except that her father died in 1812 Hartwick NY).  Deborah's
    last name in some sources is given as WINSOR...not sure.  Deborah
    is supposedly the mother of all of Uriah's children, again not
    sure.  Any clues greatly appreciated...please write

6.  Want help locating details on Elijah HAWKINS b. before 1828, m.
    Drusilla PEARSE.  Child John W. HAWKINS b. 1828, m. Margaret SHAW.
    Elias HAWKINS(grandson of Elijah and Drusilla) m. Rebecca HAWLEY.
    All of these folks were in Marion and Preston Counties of West

7.  CLAUDEW1@aol.com is looking for info on Harvey B. HAWKINS or his
    2 children, John F. or Nancy C. HAWKINS.  Believe both children
    were born around 1860 around Bedford, VA.


8.  Some of this will sound familiar from a previous issue, but has 
    new info included:  John William HAWKINS b. 3-14-1839/1842(grave
    at site says one thing, pension says another), d. 1923.  Married
    to Martha Emeline COLEMAN.  Their children:  Palina b. 1866,
    Margaret Annie b. 1883, William b. 1872, Ulysses b. 1886, Ed,
    Martha(Belle), Mary Elizabeth(Lizzie), Thomas, and Sarah.  John W.
    was born in Shelby Co., KY area, was a Union soldier.  His father
    came from Ireland.  John William had a sister named Martha Jane;
    their father could have been Robert HAWKINS.  Dr5249@aol.com


9.  My ggrandfather was a Benjamin Washington HAWKINS from around the
    Benton KY area, married to a Rebecca BEGGS...they had a daughter

10. Do you hae any info on a Hettie HAWKINS b. 1822 England, married
    a William GLIDWELL, d. in Decatur Co., IN? Hettie and William had
    a daughter Louisa GLIDEWELL b. 1835 Metamora IN(?)  Thanks-

11. I'm researching the Nathaniel HAWKINS line...Nathaniel was b.~1794
    in VA, m. Mary T.? b.1813 KY.  They had 8 children born in KY and
    Conway Co., AR.  My gggrandfather, John Washington, was born
    3-31-1856 in Todd Co., KY; other siblings were Elizabeth, Thomas
    David, Margaret, Nathaniel E., Mary, Alberton, and Julia Ann.
