     who married Rebecca HIGGINS in Warren Co., OH 1825.  Rebecca and
     Thomas had a son, Samuel D., born 1847 in Shelby Co., IN.

     Samuel b. 1833, and Rachel b. 183_.

     married Anne DEVINE.  John and Anne had a daughter named Susan
     b. 12-7-1872 possibly in New Brunswick, NJ, m. James WHITE 
     10-3-1895 Rochester, NY.

     m. Cynthia Ann.  Their son James Allen HAWKINS(a farmer) m. Penny
     Lizany PAULK before 1900.  James and Penny had children Carrie,
     Lois, Minnie Lee(b. Nov. 1903), Alma, Jewell, Doris(died at 
     birth)and Donald(twins), William, Charles, O.B., Joel, and Davey
     (died at 6 months).  Most of these folks are buried at Rehobeth
     Cem., Dothan AL.
