     Ezekiel CRAIN who married a Nancy HAW/HAWKINS.  Ezekiel was born
     2-14-1795 in TN, Nancy was b. 1793 location unknown.  They were
     married 11-28-1812, both died in Washington Co., IL.  They had
     12 children....James H., Sophia, Lewis L., John D., Isaac L.,
     Mary L., Aldred L., Catherine P., Andrew J., William C.,

3.   Bud is searching for the elusive Zacharias HAWKINS, son of Robert
     who was b.~1820, grandson of Zacharias and Oglesby, ggrandson of
     John and COnstance.  Shows up on the IL census in 1860 and 1870,
     then disappears.  Lived on a farm near Corning AR, was said to 
     have moved to TX, and had a sizeable family.  Others think he met
     with foul play and is buried in an unmarked grave near Corning,
     AR...can you shed some light on Zacharias?  Please write

8.   Looking for Anna/Mary Anne/Anne HAWKINS m. to a Harrison "Henry"
     KENNEDY.  She was born in IN, migrated to GA, married there, and
     had a son who later died in IN...this leads me to believe that
     she and Harrison moved to IN to be close to her people.  Their

11.  Looking for antecedents, in-laws, and descendants of the HAWKINS
     family who lived in the western part of Mecklenburg Co., NC 
     particularly near Steele Creek and Long Creek, from ca. 1840 to
     ca. 1920.  The earliest head of household I've got is James W.
     HAWKINS, wife MAry, both b.~1800 NC.  Oldest son was Samuel.  Two
     of their other sons, Joseph P. and Fields served in the 13th NC
     Infantry from 1861-1865.  Joseph P. married Emily Eliz.SIMPSON in
     the county ca. 1865.  James F. married Ida E. AUTEN in the county
     ca. 1895.  Their son Robert Gaither HAWKINS b. 1898, m. Ina Mae
     LAMB of AL, probably in Chicago ca. 1925
