There are many books dealing with case histories of reincarnation, but this is the only one which deals with case histories of the time between lives, where we are cognizant of our past actions and their necessary consequences, and where we, with the help of a council of judges, decide how best to fulfill our karma and continue with our spiritual development. What Life After Life did for death and dying, this book does for that interim period between incarnations.
The first metaphysical book I ever read was written by Brad Steiger (The Enigma of Reincarnation). I was eight years old and my father gave me a copy because I had been asking questions like, "How come I remember what it's like to be a grownup?" (My father was an intellectual and quite progressive). That first book is now out of print, but this one contains a lot of the same kinds of information.
Richard Bach beautifully captures the essence and feelings of soulmates and the desire for soulmates to be together. In this book and in "One" (listed below) he explores the complex tapestry of of individual souls and their interaction over time and through love.
see above listing
Sutphen's work in regression therapy, relationships and reincarnation is voluminous. His books, seminars, and tapes have helped many couples to understand the dynamics of their relationships and the karmic issues which recur in this life. Thorough and uplifting.
Another excellent source document on reincarnation, soulmates and the karma of relationships.
Jess Stearn, reporter turned metaphysical investigator has earned my respect as a writer. Writing objectively, sometimes a little skeptically, but always with an open mind, Stearn brings a reasonable and rational perspective to any subject he explores. He has written many books(most of which have lived on MY bookshelf at one time or another) and I highly recommend all his work.

Gina Cerminara's many works were instrumental in my metaphysical education. Her writing is lucid and thought-provoking. Start with any one of the works below - I'm sure you'll agree.
